gallery Free the Dolphins!

I just recently learned about the dolphins stranded and starving at an abandoned aquarium in the Bahamas. To the people in charge of animal rights in the Bahamas, please help these dolphins return to the sea before it’s too late. Tell me where to go and I will book a ticket to protest on the President’s doorstep if I have to. For more info on how you can help, refer to the Dolphin Project

URGENT CALL TO ACTION: Ask the Bahamian government to immediately implement life-saving interventions for these captive dolphins. Sign the #petition at DolphinProject.com A unique opportunity exists in the Bahamas to create the first dolphin sanctuary/retirement facility in the Americas. Dolphin Project has been doing this very work for over 54 years. Currently, in partnership with the Indonesian government, Dolphin Project operates the world’s only permanent dolphin re-adaptation and retirement and center in Bali. #DolphinProject #dolphin #animals #dolphins #ocean #oceananimals #emptythetanks

Ric O’Barry posted how to write a kind note to the Bahama’s Prime Minister @bravedavis. You can copy his text and send it, super easy! Please if you do, remember to be respectful and courteous as acting rudely may harm the dolphins more.

Sadly, this type of situation is all too familiar. If you recall last summer, we lost dear Toki in much the same way at an abandoned facility in Miami. Contrary to what some may claim, these magnificent animals can be returned to the sea safely and make full recovery. As the video below clearly shows, orcas and dolphins can indeed join with other pods and coexist with the wild ones. Let them be free and return to the Sea! Please Please Please.

Together we are better and can solve the world’s problems much more efficiently and wisely.
