gallery Cosmos, thank you Carl Sagan

As spring beckons and our appreciation for this amazing world comes into focus, whom better to remember than the late Carl Sagan.  I think anyone who was alive back in 1980 watched this series when it originally aired on PBS (channel 11 in Chicago). Those were the days when we only had maybe 5 or 6 tv stations to choose from, unlike today.

In honor of this extraordinary scientist, writer, and inspiring teacher here is the original Cosmos episodes I and II, via Daily Motion.  May we all grow in our wonderment for this planet and for each other.
